@mav2000 thanks for the low-down. Actually I was invited to the ASUS Power User Meet 2011 [19[SUP]th[/SUP] July] and I had seen both the models really up-close and was in awe of both, just wanted to know your experience with both and what you thought about each. I have a M4A785TD-V EVO but it is a fine motherboard for my purposes. Kind regards and best over-clocks [wishes],ALPHA17 @ampdr1 I think mav has a closed water loop for day to day tasks and he has answered your query better than I could have, I have no experience with these extreme components. :( :(
Hey I was there as well. But at that time Z77 was too far away. I was the guy clocking the amd setup. Shatul was on intel.I got the 3570 about 1 1/2 months back for a slight premium. There are a lot of pieces in Bangalore. If you pay in advance I can ship you one.

Naah!! I am just a student so extremely tight on cash. I remember, did you come after the event to the Bombay members meet up?

Thanks guys or ur informative reply!.But it may turn out that I cannot use this combo cause of one issue..
Here the deal, apparentl the Virtualization feature Vt-d is not available in 3770k and I need this for my lab setup for VMware Training..
- So I am to look at 3770 or other processors if possible which means overclocking is not an option.
- If overclocking is not an option, what board would u recommend?
- The max ram supported is 32gb, is there any way to increase this to 64gb or is there any similar processor / motherboard combo that u could recommend?
