Need new PSU?

Check this out:



My PSU is a CoolerMaster 450W RealPower. And the page indicates my system draws about 500W when at full load. So do i need to change the PSU?

If yes, then please suggest some brands to look out for (keeping in mind the resalve value of my current PSU.)

But on second thought, my RMS power requirement (i.e. 500W / 1.414 = 353W) is well within the 450W limit. Am heavily OCing the system and also getting a DFI (which itself REQUIRES a 480W powersupply.)

Any thoughts? I dont want to damage other valueable parts due to overloading of this-otherwise excellent PSU.

Well, no, i doubt it.

Unless you notice too much of a drop on the 12V Rail, i think you safe.
