I'm almost out on my 640GB WD. Looking to buy a new HDD. What's the best bang for buck hard drive out there?

I think if you are looking for a data dump.. Then WD Caviar Green suits you perfectly.. I guess its current prices are in the range of 4650/-

For OS drive, WD Black might be an alternative..

I prefer WesternDigital. In WD We Trust, lol.

For data dump simple maths. Any HDD with 5 year warranty and lowest Space : Price ratio should be the obvious choice.
