PC Peripherals Need RAM Suggestion

I am having Asus p5e-vm hdmi motherboard.

Currently i have kingston value ram 1Gbx2 CL 6, 800Mhz

I am planing to upgrade my ram to 4GB and this time i want corsair memory.

My requirement is to run system on dual channel.

So shoud i buy 1GBx2 corsair memory and that will do.

or i have sell my current 2gb and get 2GBx2 corsair memory.
Any suggestion.

I think the second option is better if u are planning a good dual channel system.in that configuration system will run smoothly.

Sell and buy mate.... IMHO identical matched pair much better than rams from diff manufacturers

I'd say get the 4GB G Skill 1066Mhz through KMD, will cost about 6-7K
If your budget is around 10K, get the OCZ reaper or Corsair dominator

Or if your budget is closer to 4K +/-, you could look at the Transcend 2GB 800MHz sticks that have the decently overclockable PowerChips modules.

I have budget of 6k, My motherboard does not support 1066Mhz ram.
