IP Msngr also has Mac and Linux versions, but I haven't gotten the Linux thing to work, so if you can, more power to you! (and do let me know what you did)

Tried lot of things but nothing works as good as Skype.

can u show me pointer to set up a file sharing server... basically im trying to set up file sharing between Vista and XP and it is not happening very smooth.
