Need soldering iron recommendations (and repair suggestions) to fix cat's chirpy toy

The wires in my cat's chirpy bird toy are too fragile and tend to break easily. I cant keep buying new toys as they are expensive. Need good soldering iron recommendations under 200-300rs (the cheaper the better) so I can fix it. I've only used a soldering iron once when I was a kid. Bought it from a local hardware shop and it was shite to put it politely. So would appreciate recommendations that people have used personally.

Also open to repair suggestions so that the wires dont keep breaking.

A standard soldering iron should work imo.
Leaded 63/37 solder that melts at a low temp (~200C) and a fine solder tip will make your job easier. Just mix the solder in with the factory one, and it should melt quickly, which you can remove with a wick.
As for the wires, get the silicone-insulated ones. The standard insulation gets brittle and will break over time...

I suggest get a good soldering iron 500-600 rs . and 100+ watts . rather than a cheap wont last long . and at the same time you will not use for only cat toys but other repairs as well . ( below 100w solder iron is not worth it : bad soldering .)
