Need soldering iron recommendations (and repair suggestions) to fix cat's chirpy toy

The wires in my cat's chirpy bird toy are too fragile and tend to break easily. I cant keep buying new toys as they are expensive. Need good soldering iron recommendations under 200-300rs (the cheaper the better) so I can fix it. I've only used a soldering iron once when I was a kid. Bought it from a local hardware shop and it was shite to put it politely. So would appreciate recommendations that people have used personally.

Also open to repair suggestions so that the wires dont keep breaking.

UPDATE:

First off thank you everyone who replied and helped.

Went ahead and bought Atrocitus ATC42360W 60w temp control solder iron for 367rs. Primarily chose it for the temperature flexibility and different bits that came with it.

For the chirpy toy itself I just used the existing wire and solder for now and changed batteries. While soldering I started with the lowest temp of 200 which didn't melt the solder. At 300 it melted it after a couple of seconds. I wanted to be a bit careful since the whole device is small and didn't want my finger touching the iron or the iron melting the speaker's plastic (which it did a wee bit). Right now the toy is working again tho the speaker sounds a bit crackled. But my blind cat doesn't mind. He's happy to get his toy working again!

A standard soldering iron should work imo.
Leaded 63/37 solder that melts at a low temp (~200C) and a fine solder tip will make your job easier. Just mix the solder in with the factory one, and it should melt quickly, which you can remove with a wick.
As for the wires, get the silicone-insulated ones. The standard insulation gets brittle and will break over time...

I will definitely look into the low temp solder and wires. The one on the toy right now melts at 300+ temp.

I suggest get a good soldering iron 500-600 rs . and 100+ watts

I tried looking for 100+w soldering irons. But they were either expensive or didn't have smaller bits. Is it important to have more wattage compared to temp control?

Go for Soldron make 25W soldering iron.

go for noel 8 watt soldering iron

I looked at these two but was skeptical about their lower wattage. 60w with temp control felt like a safer bet. Though the soldron one does claim to go upto 380c, I would have also required an additional smaller bit.

If you're from hyderabad I can help you

Hey, I'm from Mumbai. Thanks for offering help though!
