Laptops need some advice on dv5-1120tx

hello fellas
i am thinking of buying dv5-1120tx of hp.
some of my friend told me that this model is going to be discontinued from production. and the retailers have no clue about it.

so can u plz help me that is it really going to be discontinued and is it worth to buy it
and if not any other option you would like to suggest

croma has tons of stock of everything. buy it if u want and like it. dont wait for a newer model to come. HP keeps changing model every month it seems. i went to buy 1106 and its out of stock ghrrr
