Need some help with Mutual Funds and retreiving statements for the same

Whats the problem with that sign a request form and scan it.Or they accept the original letter?

Original i guess.

I wanted to change my phone number with ICICI Bank and they too wanted original. I had sent them the same (but they never received it...thanks to DTDC

The problem is Indian law does not allow online/ digital process of any unregistered services, for email registration needs a specific form to be submitted physically and it will take further 2-4 working days to update it in to your own folio.

So what could be the other way for it ?

The only way if i want to get registered is send out signed hard copy letters to all these firms and expect that they will update my email id in their database.

Another simpler option is to just contact the broker to get the statements.

Just think from the other side, if they allow to update email address over phone/internet/email, your information is at risk and you are only the one who will suffer.

If they get the hard copies, they will surely update it. Customer care at MF industry is highly regulated.
