Need suggestion for PCI-E Wifi Receiver

Hey Guys,
I am in need of a PCI-E WiFi Receiver for my desktop pc.
Please suggest the best possible one because ive seen people having problems in connecting to a wifi modem in the adjascent room.

Budget - No such budget but it should be reasonable.

Don't think there are any PCI-E wifi adapters dude. At least none that I've heard of from any of the major manufacturers. Your only option would be PCI or USB. What standard is the wifi modem?? G? N??
