PC Peripherals Need Suggestion: Professional PC or Laptop for AutoCad, Solidworks, Catia

Dear TE members

Plz suggest me. I wanted to get a PC or Laptop for my brother. But the real hard thing is that finding the right combination.
The application that he would be running is Autocad 2010, Solidworks, Catia and all the mechanical engineering stuffs.....

Problem is that I cannot go allout and buy all the high professional stuffs and get it assembled. They are very expensive :no:

I wanted to know what can be the least budget and get the PC workable for those apps.

Graphic Card needed is nVidia Quadro.
I had found this workstation motherboard from Asus (ASUS P5N-VM WS) which can serve the purpose. The whole PC can be built around this motherboard. It has the North Bridge NVIDIA Integrated Quadro FX470. CPU Support:
CPU Type Intel Core2 processors / Pentium D / Pentium 4 /Celeron CPU / 45nm, Core 2 Extreme/Core 2 Quad/Core 2 Duo
FSB 1333/1066MHz

Is there any Notebook that, can serve the purpose?

I had no idea whether normal PC assemble or notebook with nvidia 9400 series card can serve the purpose or not.

So TE members, I hope u all can suggest me, before I take the final call. :huh:

Total - 40.5k / 42.5k

This can be pulled down further if be more specic and follow the format posted by Renegade
 
@Amax, Lenovo Thinkpad T61 comes with option to have Quadro GPU. The one that I amusing has Quadro NVS 140M. Check their site
 
thanks desibond. Yeh Anubis, I feel that u had not got what I asked for. I want the workable combination for those apps. It is not about simply assembling. Had it been so I would not asked for that. Basic thing only CPU+Motherboard+GPU. here GPU is in question?
