Dear Friends, I require your help & suggestions in deciding to go for which bike, as previously I had CBZ Extreme & now want to buy a new bike & options are following & my requirements from a bike are great handling, comfort for long rides, looks good, good power, longevity in working & should fit in my final budget of 1.18L which I can't stretch more then 2000.

1. Yamaha R15.
2. Bajaj Pulsar 200NS.
3. CBR 150.
If there is any good bike the do let me know

Did I read good looks, power, durability, comfort and handling????
If yes then why I don't see ENFIELD in that list??

I'd say the Yamaha R15 from that list. Reliable, been out there for some time, powerful and handles like a dream, lasts long.

However it will get uncomfortable in long rides. P200NS is good on that point but lacks everything else.

1. Yamaha R15. :
Pros : Best handling and brakes, Good looks (fully faired), Good power for a 150cc mil (lacks the low end punch that 200ns/duke/cbr250r has), Engine reliability, Technology, Renowned delta box frame,Rev happy engine, Yamaha Service, Dual horns ,Fuel injection

Cons : Pillion comfort absent, Only 17bhp (good for 150cc though)(less if compared to 200ns/duke/cbr250r/150r), seating position not suitable for touring (matter of getting used to it), Battery 3.5A, Costly

2. Bajaj Pulsar 200NS :
Pros: New engine, Good on mileage being 200cc, Looks good if you are more of a naked bike lover, Powerful, Technology derived from KTM, Comfortable for pillion as well, 23bhp(pull from standstill is mind blowing), Renowned perimeter frame, Good handling (takes curves nicely), Price, Bajaj Service

Cons : Vibrations at speeds post 115kmph (which will be a problem in every naked bike, but who cares coz in India we hardly go above 100kmph) (can be sorted out by some tuning), Rear tyre tends to skid (can be replaced by a new sticky one), Carb (when compared to FI bikes you have listed)
Cant say about reliability as it in a fairly new bike. But my gut feeling says if maintained properly, it can serve well.

3. CBR 150 :
Pros : Handling and Braking can be compared to R15, More horses compared to any other 150cc bike in India, Very Comfortable for touring as well as city riding (incl pillion), Much more rev happy motor than r15 (DOHC as compared to SOHC in r15), Honda Engine/durability, Better fuel efficiency, CBR250r alike looks, Fresh colours, Honda service, Renowned Twin Tube Diamond frame, Fuel Injection

Cons: Torque is pretty poor , Switches used like the ones used in twister, No pass light switch(atleast I prefer having it), No engine kill switch( again a point of debate coz its needed just for safety), inferior plastic quality.

If you are considering a cbr150r which costs more than R15, then better take a look at the KTM Duke 200, its a monster.

I was considering the duke but I had love for r15 from the day it launched, so went ahead with it.

In the end its upto you, whether you need a comfortable bike or a powerful bike or a sexy bike. Depending upon the requirements you can zero down to your choice.

I am 5'8 & weigh at 70 KG.
Okie. Your height and weight plz.

1. I agree to your points & wants to go with Pulsar 200NS for its power but my friend who is having Avenger 200DTSi is advising me against Bajaj bikes.
2. R15 is first preference even my mother & sis love it but don't know, what onroad price difference is between CBR 150 & R15, so I can decide among them. Another grouch is that if I bought it then I also have to teach my mother to ride. :p
3. For CBR 150 things stopping me from getting it is lack of knowledge about its on road price, how it fairs against R15 & its build quality as you mentioned.

1. I agree to your points & want to go with Pulsar 200NS for its power but my friend who is having Avenger 200DTSi is advising me against Bajaj bikes. P200NS doesnt have last gen bajaj engine, its new, but still to establish a name for itself by proving durable in long run. Bajaj has done a really good job on P200NS. I wont force you to go for p200ns just coz I am not sure about the durability. As I have said, I feel that this engine will last long, really long.
2. R15 is first preference even my mother & sis love it but don't know, what onroad price difference is between CBR 150 & R15, so I can decide among them. Another grouch is that if I bought it then I also have to teach my mother to ride. :p R15 is priced at 1.28L OTR Mumbai while CBR150R is priced at ~1.36L OTR Mumbai. Dont depend upon anybodys liking for the bike, in the end you will ride the bike, its your soul thats going to get attached with the bike. :)
3. For CBR 150 things stopping me from getting it is lack of knowledge about its on road price, how it fairs against R15 & its build quality as you mentioned. As described above,CBR150r has a good engine, I can surely say its a bit better than R15 for sure. Better mileage, but lacks the finish that R15 has, the plastic quality is inferior to that of R15's.

Well, after whole lot of thinking I have decided to go for Pulsar 200NS. I will like to thank Sunnyboi, aquaticbullet & chiragsthakur for their valuable time, suggestions & efforts for helping me out.

I hope next time I come to ask you people for another bike suggestion It will be for a half-mile.

You have made a very good choice, I have ridden that and it is so surprising that it is good quality and Bajaj :D
I would have suggested that too, @chiragsthakur Nice explanations and advices.

Honda CBR 150 is not worth the money..its 150 cc and the looks dont look worthy for this much amount..Yamaha R15 is the best choice according to me..its really a mast bike worth spending money..one of my friends have bought it and i tell you it feels awesome to drive it..

Congratulations :D
Thats the best of KTM and Bajaj in it :D
The gear box, pedals and some of the design concepts are right off the baby Duke. And you get killer mileage for a bike with 23 bhp.
Ride safe! :)

okk then congrats for it..It would surely be worth of penny..and if you enjoy it riding then nothing in this world seem better than this..enjoy with your bike..you gonna have a rocking time now..
