Storage Solutions Need Suggestion - WD Mybook World

I am planning to buy a WD Mybook world 1TB.

I have a doubt

If we ned to get the torrent download working on it i beleive we need to unlock it and install the same and i beleive there will be no warranty if we do it.

Is there any way to undo the same? Ie lock it back to get the warranty in case of any issue?
