Need To Choose Mobile Phone By Tomorrow

Hello guys...

I know I have started a thread befor enad asked in the mobile phone advisor thread and all but this is going to be my last for quite some time now.

So the qustion I have is;

Shall I go for the N81 or The K810i?

My budget is around 12K and I would like it to be an all round phone. I don't really care about any one feature.

Either those two phones or shall I wait for sometime for another phone to come into the market? I will either be buying tomorrow/day after or around the 20th of September...

Plus - My dad won't allow me to take the iPhone as he is getting one himself most probably.

similar query from my side too... the usage will be for college, so looks n durability(built) also matter a lil bit.... budget is between 10-12K...

options: E51 or K810i or samsung i450(can anyone tell its exact price +- 500bux)...

1) Point is that E51 is a gem of a phone but lacks multimedia (specially muzic) n also looks dated... greatest plus point is that it is a symbian and it is fast...

2) K810i is good at multimedia(i suppose, correct me if i am wrong).... though i dont care much about the cam as long as i am able to get basic snaps...biggest drawback is that it lacks symbian :(

3) I have read a lot of good reviews about the i450 (symbian+big screen+ slider+ good muzic) but dunno about the durability part and am unsure of the price...

these are the 3 phones i have shortlisted..feel free to add to the list....

if u dont dont want extensive camera features(really gud camera) i'd say dont take the SE fone, the os is crappy(I dont like it atleast)
My mom has a SE k810i - sumtimes it restarts when i go to the camera photos i dunno if this has been fixed in a firmware upgrade or if its a prob wid only her fone.
The size of the keypad is small,
the shortcut keys (camera) are small,
the screen is pretty small too
sometimes there's lag when messaging(slow os)

but on the upside it has one of the best cameras.
If u wanna go for SE only Sony Ericsson W890 wud be better bet at 14k(approx)

or if u cant afford that go for the w580i which still has a better OS , grr8 music quality, nice design(my fren bought afta the hrithik ad)-arnd 11-12kwid bill i think

samsung i450 is also within ur budget i think i havent used it or even seen it wid neone so wont comment but it looks cool

I dunno much abt the n81 , hvnt used it

I think best bet right now wud be

I don't want any of those Xpress Music edition Nokia phones. I used my friends one and I din't like it at all.

So no 5610 for me. Also... no SE walkman series phones or Samsung phones either.

Now N81 or K810i or something else?
 
How abt a HTC fone i'm sure there'll be one for arnd 10-12k
ma fren has some p4300 sum mod sub 10k

EDIT: I just remembered u want nuthin flashy ,or special feature so the nokia 6300 shud be perfect for u, screen is not too big but the resolution is pretty gud , shud be within ur budgets(dunno current price but within 13k), smooth os(s40 hassle free)

in case of n81 and k810 i would have picked up k810 anyday.

the biggest drawback for k810 is tht it doesnt have a big screen and tht you can install only java applications. there.

so if you are looking for something that will give you gud music, great camera and really dont want to edit word documents or install one hundred other software on the phone, get that.

i hvnot got my hands onto a i450, so i cant comment much. though as far as build quality goes, samsung sliders in general are pretty well built

else if you are ok with a okayish camera, gud music and better music, then n81 is the way to go.

personally i never found the os in se phone to lag. infact i was using a k750i flashed to w800 for ages with a 4 gb card. and navigation was just as speedy and reliable. k810 doesnt appeal to me much n i if were to pick wud hv got the k790i but both the handsets are almost the same.

My friends all have the 6300 so I want something different.

I guess I will just go to the shop and check out the N81 and K810i side by side and then decide.

Nope. Had a fight with my parents. I will be getting it after September 15th now.

So what is the current price of the C902? and is it expected to fall by then?

SE phones are nice, i switched over from Nokia to SE an year ago and i am really happy with it. My girl has the K810i, very good camera quality, looks good. no problems with the OS.
 
I'd go for the N81 as it is the most feature packed phones with no compromise on performance either ( for its price, i dunno what else to recommend since you don't really care about the camera )
 
Basically at the moment it is between the K810i and N81...

Will the price of the C902 come down by September 15th? Will the price of the N81 8GB come down too?
