Have created a bootable USB disk, but cannot install XP from it because setup is not supported in ms-dos. Have tried so many things lately but not able to do it sadly. My CD-Drive has stopped reading discs hence all the problem. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Oh btw have tried most of the things that google will throw when searched on the same topic, except for a particular set of instructions which says, will wipe out my c drive before letting me install XP.

Google for "USB_MultiBoot_10"

Or you can use mkbt.exe and f16ntldr.bin with the command line if you are familiar with the preinstall setup method to directly make the usb drive bootable and just copy the setup files and answer file manually.
