Need to stop auto debit from bank towards bill.

I had given an ecs mandate to axis bank for automatically debiting my ac towards insurance bill. How do I stop it? should i ask axis bank to stop it or should i ask insurance company to stop taking from my bank?

Asking cause next debit will make it go below min req balance and bank will charge me for that.
 
what kauzy said....and I would recommend never to go in for an auto-debit facility especially for your bills as you have very little recourse in case of a dispute as the payment has already been made. Just my two cents.
 
^ dont u have the option in ur axis bank internet banking menu to cancel auto debit , i gave me request to cancel auto debit from my hdfc card by loggin in to my account , it gave me an option deregeister for auto debit!!
