Needed gaming pc for upto 30K

A friend of mine is looking out for a new pc which will mainly be used for gaming and his budget is 30k
He needs everything except the monitor..

So he needs..

Cpu + mobo
Ram
Gfx card
HDD
mouse
Cabinet
Speakers

I guess it will be an AMD based system....but he'd also like to know how much extra will a C2D based system cost?

haha, it's under budget, just cut the damn monitor out

And get a bigger hdd out of the few chillers left.

i would suggest the following config:

AMD AM2 3600+ and a Asus M2NE: 10k

Trascend 1 gb DDR II 667: 5.5k

Seagate SATA II 7200.10 160gb: 3k

Palit 7600GT: 8.5k

Mouse: MS Optical comfort 3000: 800

Cabby: el chapo cabby from navtech or iball - 1k

Altec Lansing 251: 2.5k

Powersafe 400W-1.5k

Total: 32-33k

I know it is a litttle overbudget but it will give max performance for the buck, and IMO its worth to spend that bit extra.

Yeah..get a single transcend 1 gb ddr2 667 n save a 1000 bucks (instead of 512x2), get a simple microsoft mouse for 400 bucks..and sqeeze in the 7600gs..i have the card..of xfx make..though XFX 7600gs is available for 6.5k, u can get the BIG or LEADTEK 7600gs for 6k approx...its much better than the 7300GT at 5k..
