CPU/Mobo Nehlam = No Overclocking Confirmed!

The main problem is lot of unknowns. The only thing that is known for sure is that Intel do not plan to launch midbudget / mainstream Nehlam architecture CPUs this year.

That will come much later in 2009. So at launch you wont get anything for even 20k.

Second slightly known thing is that Intel has dumped conventional FSB and the way CPU is closked. The Chip itself has very very high multipliers and FSB is direct which is not like anything we see today. I still dont know how memory will clock with respect to all this. Rest we will know soon.

From what's shown with the few screens of Bloomfield, CPUZ reports FSB as 133 mhz with a mult of 22. How's that happening ? I guess what is being reported as FSB is actually QPI .

^^it doesnt have any actual fsb now... which was the communication channel between northbridge and cpu.... because of the integrated memory controller
i guess its just showing the internal clock generator as fsb
