Netbook or Ipod

Before you Guys Panic, Letme explain my requirements.
I would usually travel Bangalore-Chennai, and has frequent music listening habit.
I was planning to buy an Ipod classic for Music and Movies, But, suddenly with netbooks having high battery life and VFM Factor, I think to use a netbook.
Moreover i can watch videos (No codec issues, Conversion issues & flexible platform) on a bigger hi res screen. But i need to sacrifice on an important thing - HANDLING.
Could you guys help me on this thing?
1. Any netbook, with lighter weight and High Battery life.
2. to have SSD (Low Capacity - Not a problem) (Moving a running HDD - risk)
3. Great/Good Sound Quality (Thro Headphones)

Is it better to wait for Pinetrail or an Existing one...

Any more points i Will update the thread as i get ideas...

But a Netbook is more Versatile...

The whole Device becomes my Media hub and not just an extension...

(Edit Tags, Add album info, Maintain and Edit Itunes Libraries)

And in future i Can Upgrade The HDD to more capacity at lesser price...

But the Touch is Lighter, Easy to Use, and Better Shock resistance...

If you are planning to buy a netbook go for an Asus 1005HA. The N280 allows you to play hdrips of 720p according to a few reviews.

Don't go for the Asus N10J offered by Vijay Sales. It is no longer in production.

The battery life is the best feature on Asus 1005HA. Nothing comes close to it.

But What is the Price of 1005HA Bluetooth Version in Chennai, Can we Expect a Pinetrail version of it...
