Hello everyone,
I am running into some problem setting up my Netgear DGN 1000 wireless modem.
DGN1000
I have a local ISP and have a direct LAN for Internet which I used to plug onto my PC and surf after entering my authentication details. So what I planned to do was to plug the LAN straighaway into any of the 4 ports available and setup the wifi network.
Problem -
Configuration requires an authentication. While doing so I connect the device to my PC through another LAN and the LAN from the ISP goes into the Modem but accessing the internet requires entering my credentials. So I receive a message "Internet connection not found".
Now I am really in a fix as to how to proceed. So kindly suggest a solution especially if you have encountered a similar situation. Another question is I have been provided with a CD and also an instruction leaflet giving me steps for Manual Configuration. What is the difference between the 2 approaches? Or both of them are required?
Thanks.
