Great why couldn't they make it twice as thick as the 5 rupee coin and then make a 20 rs coin 4 times as thick.

Instead of all this they need to change the notes. The notes need to be freakin waterproof made of plastic so the next time I get off an auto the guy doesnt give me a torn up chewed on note.

the coins shown in today's TOI seem to be different from what was advertised before, maybe RBI decided to avoid controversy. Last time they used that cross, there was a big hue and cry.
