Wait what about the illumination ?

Look at the vids , if you don't like it then don't buy it ! Did I force you ?

You got the wrong idea of illumination , look at video and you will understand , it means that you don't see what's written on the keys but light comes throughout the crack between keys

Also @ battery life .. it is 2 years , yes for 2 years you don't need to change batteries according to the site :/

OMG!!!

Thanks a lot guys for those suggestions.

Checked the Razer, But it was a gaming focused one, felt the keys to be mushy... I need either an Imac level feedback, with no macro, driver etc...

I was nearly finalized on logitech 340 kept it aside since it was " illuminated" not "backlit", For illumination i would get a 50Rs Usb led rather than a new keyboard (Sorry no offense meant for the suggester)
even i was / am looking for a budget one but all way too expensive, using a USB LED which i brought from ebay for Rs.50/- off minimum Rs.55/-, serving me good as of now.

Dude....

Sorry to go to the details, Have you ssen the video clearly?
and Importantly Do you have one...?

If yes are you sure it is back illuminated. I'm sure it is not.
Just check this review (Logitech K340 is an excellent keyboard, comfortable, compact - Logitech K340 (920-001771) Keyboard - Viewpoints)

He clearly mentions its the backing (Not backlit/Illuminated) which creates the impression like it.

Logically I noted Many points:

1. If its backlit. Noway its going to sustain 2 years of battery life.

2. If it is backlit Definitely it would be mentioned in logitech website, Why would they leave an important feature from the list.

3. Finally if its backlit, Where is the backlight control key?

And finally regarding forcing me to buy.. Its not a prob until the "Facts are geniune". I spent lot of time just to understand its not backlit, which just turns out waste due to your recommendation.

G15, if one can utilize it's functionality on fullest.

But If Price is a concern, Then Lycosa and G110 are both perfect options.

Price diff is just 700 between G15 and Lycosa. Feature which I liked in G15 is that I can manage my mouse and headphone cables under the KB. Moreover I need just a backlight KB for night gaming mainly FPS games.

Headphone jacks and 1 USB port is there in Lycosa as well at back side near it's cable joint. I own Lycosa. And Would sure suggest that, coz even I dont customize keys much and want a simple gaming backlit KB.

However, I am not totally sure about what added advantage is there in G15 due to it's small LCD display.

Also I found Palm rest quite comfortable on Lycosa comparing to Logitach wave and one another logitech KB (Model I dont remember).

And Lycosa is quite flat, and thickness is definitely less then Logitech's G110 or G15.

^^ i knew about that , didnt recommend as it is of no major brand so its a no go from my side

Buy Keyboard | Sunbeam Acrylic Lite Up Slim Keyboard | PC keyboard

buy this then , enough back lighting for all your life
This one is real cheap too.

But I have seen it in action at a friend's place and it does get on ones nerves after a while... :@

I couldn't tolerate the backlight after about half an hour... But then, the Backlight can be switched off on this one. :D
