haven't really calculated the cost but its quite cheap
@sandy, no carpunter. all work done by me. jigsaw FTW!
paint is satin finish enamel paint aka regular oil paint with a matt finish. Used a roller, helps a lot with the finish

@eddy the hook like thingies are holders for 120mm fans. the aeroflex sheet beneath the mobo prevents it from flexing while installing heavy hsf's etc.
hdd bay salvaged from junk cabby, hand screws bought locally

@lt, toolbox bought from Budhwar peth
