i have a cruze LTZ manual and its been more then 2 years and the car is brilliant . you cant go wrong with this car for sure. i drove it flat 200kph on pune express highway and the car still goes on and on, just change the tyres of the cruze as it comes with jk tyres as these tyres are the most useless ever built, put bridgetone and have peace of mind.
 
D other thing to consider whilst picking a vento.. the rear seat is really only a 2 seater, cause they have this floor bump which would allow the third person to sit in the middle for long hrs..

My first choice was the vento diesel till i test drove it. It drives brilliantly, suspension is slightly stiff for my liking but still good, but my biggest problem was the leg room,, not in length but breath//
I am 5'11 in height and my leg leg(left knee), was touching the side.. i adjusted the seats in every position possible, height and fwd/back, bot nothing seemed to work. The showroom rep told me, though this is rare, v sometimes do see this case arising among people between 5'10 - 6'1... Guess something u shud thoroughly check out if ur in the same hgt grp.

Duster by Renault, I would go for this, I have not read the thread so dunno if its only sedan or anything else goes too.
 
@gREen consider duster as well. Today's TOI has a half page ad , it should be releasing soon.

People are allowing booking without definitive pricing or ETA.
