PC Peripherals New case req : Budget 4.5K - 5K MAX

Hey. As the topic says.. I need a new case, 4.5-5K max. Should be available in Mumbai and I have the following requirements :

1) 120mm Intake fan

2)2x120 mm exhaust fans

3)Enough space for 4 HDDs

4)Removable dust covers

5)PSU optional.. not too worried if there isn't a PSU..

Recommendations? OR am I setting my sights too high for "just" 5K?

Oh.. and I am being transferred back to Mumbai. Yaaaaaaay!

don't think they have 2x120 exhaust fans....

I think 1 x 120 should be good enough, you'll have to mod it. I really like the SLK3000B, but it and it'll cost within 4K.

The SLB is a good chassis as well. budget may exceed.

If you want a really superb case, try for the Plus view side panel with the TX-1050B, that cabby is really roooomy..
 
the slb is also a gud option, a bit cramped but better luking...
the performance plus and TX series r too cramped...they shld have increased the breadth of the cabby rather than making it so tall
 
The SLB is a decent mid-tower chassis that will meet your requirements (barring the 2x120mm fans :)). It's also a cool chassis - not referring to looks, I'm talking about keeping your components cool.
 
VIP ZB-01 or Zebby Jamaica ....dont even think of any other case.Trust me you will love it if you want the case to be spacious.:)
 
Hmm.. thanks for the replies, guys. The zb-01/Jamaica - fine, 1x120mm exhaust ought to be fine, right?
Also.. HDD space is a must.. 1TB should be mine by the end of the year, muhahahaaaa!

ZB01 :D It has only one 120mm fan at the back, but you can add 2 80mm fans at the side. Plus a 80mm and a 120mm for the HDD cage.

Edit: It can take 5 HDDs easily.
 
I own a zebby jamaica,and there are 2 120mm slots.3 80 mm slots, 2 on the side door and 1 at the top.Also has usb and firewire port at the top and a handle to carry which zb-01 doesnt have.
One in the rear and 1 in the front.Great cabinet.Saw huge temp drops from my old cabinet and very much spacious.
 
Stacker 810 for me :eek:hyeah: thats the HDD king. And my bro is buying 2 x 500 GB WD drives, which I plan to put in my rig, just for some screenshots and pics, when I go to Jab..

I think it takes 6-8 drives easy (HDD)

I like the SLB, a touch cramped, but you can put in 4 drives easy, and the rails are also decent.... the P180 rules AFA rail quality goes.
 
To the thread starter: SLB and Jamaica have differnt USP's. SLB is Small Spacious and Aluminium. Jamaica is Huge, Very Spacious and Weigs a tonn. I for one hate heavy chasis. They look so huge on the desk and they end you up with Spondylolysis

810 is about 10K or so.
 
:( :( Also the zamaica has very bad looks...I personally hate bad looking cabinets...:p :p You can't fall in love with someone if you have a sexy figure but looks like a horse...:rofl: :rofl:
 
techead look here..though prices look insane in some cases...but we can personally go to shop and check that

alsocheck the last page one chieftec ...though i guess the prices r wrong(condsidering amd x2 3800+ is still 16k there)

even i m thinking to get 1.......might settle with either zebronics jamaica or a chieftec one.......(most probably chieftec....since heard zebby to b lot heavy)
