41-50k NEW MAC MINI i7 2.3 quad core vs Hackintosh on my old i5 2500k pc

Hey guys am thinking of selling my i5 2500k pc and getting a mac mini i7 2.3 quad core...

Point is am thinking of getting just for the purpose of doing lots of video editiing using FCP and other softwares....
I no longer game so dont require a GPU....

SO pls suggest me should i run hackintosh on i5 2500k or get a mini with i7 2.3 quad core????

Some more suggestions/review abt windows vs mac and everything is welcome...pls help me decide..

If its for work purpose, spend the extra cash and get the mac mini. You dont want problems cropping up in the midst of work and that would make the experience a bit sour.

MSI - very, very tough to hack

+1 ... Even if you wish to freelance FCP on an original Mac is best.

And just another suggestion - have you tried Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 - most FCP editors globally have migrated to Premiere Pro as Apple has hardly made any further developments on FCP in the last 3 years.
