Market Feedback New members spamming to get into the market section

Please try to understand : This is not to try to weed out fraudsters from genuine members. Kindly read what i wrote.

And let me point it out once again, the post count or the reputation or hell, even the iTrader rating cannot guarantee that the dealer is trustworthy

This is just to ask new members to contribute something worthwhile to the community if they are seeking to use the benefits. I ask again, is that too much to ask for ? If you think it is, then well.....there goes the sense of community.
 
Give people a chance. those who find the forum worthwhile they will stick around and will contribute. Others, well let them be. Just see how many registered members are there and how many active members are there and atleast 60% of the total members are here becoz of the Trade section.

Free will and choice have always reap more than forced submission.
 
So asking for 35 posts is being forceful ? Don't you pay for things you use ? This is TE's way of asking to be paid. But not in the form of money, but contribution to the community in the form of a handful of informative posts. This is the reason why we call the Market section as as privilege. This isn't ebay. And i am pretty sure the minimum post rule is there to make sure it is kept that way.

if a new member joins TE for the market,let him do it by all means. But for the access let him contribute just a little. We are not asking for 35 super hot threads. Just 35 posts. And keeping a minimum Active time limit (hopefully) will just see to it that the posting is not spammed around. If he can fulfill this criteria than that i am pretty sure no one has a problem with a guy who joins TE to make use of just the market section.

Even after this if u feel that 35 posts is being too harsh, then i don't think i have any arguments left to make you understand.

and i dont think my thoughts are careless. Just wanted to say threads like this are pointless.

Always there is a report button. Lots of mods and admins. if u see its wrong, report it. I am sure

they will look into it.

why people are making it into a issue of such magnitude, dunno. maybe its the way.
