Guide New microphone

Greetings. I'm looking for a microphone for games and recording audio books (not professional - just for friends), it should cost between 2K - 4K and I'm fine with a cheaper mic if there's no major sound difference between it and higher priced ones. For features, a volume knob is necessary and a mute button is optional, don't need a boom arm because I have no space on my desk.
I've currently wish listed the Samson meteor, if you have it let me know how it is. Buying tomorrow.

Hey did you go ahead with your purchase I'm also looking to buy a mic for gaming. Would prefer buying something solid as I've seen reviews of moana and fifine failing due to cheap quality parts.
