Well, I for one like it. It somehow shows the young and better India. Its got everything from old to new. Yes they could have done away with some of the celebrities but still i know that my kid will like this one :)

Also the Bajaj ad is awosome but so are the new pulsar ads from Bajaj. Totally goes with the current gen :rock:
 
the khans screwed it up.. especially Aamir's ghulaam tune to this.. WTF...:@
Salman 's was equally bad

True legends were missing in thiis video .
 
new one is hopeless.... original still beats it up and down....hopeless shahid and maha hopeless deepika....yuk...prinyaka looks nice...but still nowhere at all to old one....and why the hell they changed the style...
 
Not good enough, not good enough at all. The tune is more or less the same, a little effed up. Many icons are missing(No Sachin/No Rajnikanth/No...), Deepika Padukone who is yet to establish herself as an actress is there, gawd. The direction of this video is PATHETIC to say the least, this unlike the older version doesn't capture the grandeur of India at all.
 
The old one was fantastic...
In the new video they have tried to protray India as it is now...

The flyover and direction of cinema, sports...

Im still okay with the video
Its the *ucked up tune which, is a pain to hear....
The worst was I think, Amir Khan, Sonu Nigam... please tell that guy he has an awesome voice & he is not a rock star..

Switch u cant compare bajaj old with bajaj new....

Old bajaj ads were for its scooter.....new pulser mania ads were for its bike which ofcourse shows masculine side.....

But mile sur mera tumhara is much more about our culture...u cant play with it by doing a screen award of screen on it.....

No doubt some moments are good(i myself mentioned only about rahman....but ustad amjad ali khan ,marathi tune one and even salman is good enough).....But u can see its release just for publicity sake rather than promoting patriotism...

Shahid kapur,Deppika padukone ,shilpa shetty(Havent mentioned priyanka name but she too also for some extent...)Are not some extra ordinary talent....who are part of this shoot....

Plus the sonu nigam act shows its made in fake environment ...u can see all the persons around him are the bodyguards for the shoot and second layer of police......

This is really to difficult to digest.........Also the amitabh mithun and jitendra act in original was missing in it...atleast they could have tried salman,aamir, saif or shahid(who wont share screen space together in industry)
 
Actually it started off well with Rahman. Amjad Ali Khan, Bhupen Hazarika, Shiv kumar Sharma, Zakir Hussain are an exclusion but the rest is shocking. And we do underestimate today's generation of kids. IMO They have a far better taste than us.
Rather than inclusion of Deepika, shilpa, etc(of course they should have excluded), what's far worse is their expressions. It feels like they are shooting for a romantic no with Shahrukh rather than something which represents India and it's culture. :@
And No, India is not Bollywood.
 
Didn't like it as much as the old one.but still like the effort.

Lame things were Shahid shown as a rockstar, Deepika in a miniskirt getting drenched, Aamir doing that 'aati kya khandala' tune, SRK dping a 'kal ho na ho' pose, Salman was again showing off body in a vest(couldn't he had worn a kurta here.it would have looked good for his image too).

And the song was lame in many places wherever they tried to insert new music.No rhythm at all.

I kept switching channels trying to encounter the good old song.
 
worst is this over load of bollywood stars everywhere.... just is pissing off

as said before .... more of common man or more like sons of soils made old one more heart warming
