New mp3 Player-Confused??

I Need A New mp3 Player,But Can't Seem To Make Up My Mind.
It Should Be 2 Or 1 GB,And Should Cost Somewhere Around 2-2.5KAt 2000 I'm Not Looking For Superlative Sound,But It Should Be Decent Enough.Plus Good Earphones....
Should I Go For Sony,Or Sandisk(2 GB-Around Rs.2K)?Could You Specify Any Other Option??

well...stone plus is a better option anyday than normal stone

i think a 1gb costs around 2.5k from nehru place...
 
San disk is though fine when paired with quality earphones but is definitely not close to creative in terms of sound quality.

A 2gb zen stone plus would cost around 3500 bucks.

Whereas a San disk or Transcend player will come around 2300 bucks.

Look wise the creative player appears much cool n sleek as compared to these cheap looking transcend or sandisk players.

Philips is not even worth considering,highly overpriced.
 
well..yeah im pretty sure...coz a friend bought it from nehru place @ 3600 bucks abt 2 months back.
 
Creative Zen(1GB) Ain't Available Where I Live.I'm Getting A 1GB Sandisk For Rs.2000,Which Is Expandable Through The Use Of A Memory Card,So...Say 2GB For Rs.2800.
Is That OK??
 
has everyone forgotten about the transcend 610/630...

i guess they are a bit common these days though

1GB for 2k, 2 gb for 2.5/2.8k depending on model. I'd invest in an EP 630. They'll make your music divine. I mean, for 800 bucks they make my 20k speakers sound like crap...
