OCZ has pushed into the PC perpherals market with the planned release of the Equalizer Gaming Mouse, which features a "burst fire mode".

The company did not disclose a ship date for the mouse, nor pricing. However, OCZ indicated that the mouse may be the first in a complementary line of peripherals. The company is more well known for its high-speed, tuned PC memory modules.

The Equalizer features a "Triple Threat" button that can turn one click into three, a feature that the company is touting as a burst mode for games, turning one shot into a quick three. More prosaically, the feature could also be used to turn multiple-click functions into a single click.

The Equalizer is a dual-laser-engine mouse, running at 2500 DPI.

It'll matter quiet a freaking lot in cs. One click instead of three will reduce accidental mouse movements while the quick-fire mode will reduce the delay in the shots being fired and hence reduce recoil to a certain degree.

I think it will be banned @ CS Competitions. Atleast at major ones.

Burst firing control is a skill, not something for a program to do. Its as good as a Cheat/Hack.

I hope it's not banned... I want to see people using this mouse AND getting pwned
