getin a new pc , particularly for Fun Shun nd Gaming , Surfin.....blaa.a.a.

here a basic conf proposed by mine buddies

Dell Dell SP2208WFP ( with 5 yr warranty config )
Intel quad core q6600 / dual core e8400 / e8200
Abit ip35e
Trancend 4 gb ddr II 800 Mhz (2*2)
Gigabyte nvidia 8800 gt GV-NX88T512HP
Seagate 320 gb 7200.11 / 500 gb 7200.11
Cooler Master Elite 330
Corsair VX 450
Creative t7900/t6100 | Logitech x530
K/b mouse Kit
Samsung DVD Writer
Microtek 800 VA ups
Thermal Right Ultima 90i
Logitech MX 518
plz help choose the best

pretty much neat n clean . just look on those speakers if u like them , and may be some other cabinet apart from the elite , though good i find it very small

Why do u need two mice ?

just wait for the 45nm quad cores..there is an IC for the 500GB 7200.11 in the hot deals and discussions section.

If your budget permits get the TRUE instead of the Ultima ..and

The CM-690 instead of the CM-330

The rest are pretty good.
 
not exactly required. the vx450 is a very capable psu. also, there are a lot of users here with very similar configs running without any issues.

Good post , I check out the prices last week in Bangalore on SP road

E 8400 - 8.4K

Biostar - 2.9K ( i am not buying this ) sticking to IP35E - 5.5 K I guess

DDR2 - 1500rs 2GB X 2 = 3K

SH 202 - 1K

500GB - 4 K (spec not sure)

500 W SMPS - 0.7K make not sure...

Overall a good configuration according 2 me but if u r planning 2 buy quadcore q6600 just be aware dat it heats up a lot.I personally own a q6600 G0 stepping and it runs quite hot.

Otherwise a nice looking combo!!!

And wats a 700buck SMPS doin here?? :O

Get rid of tat ASAP n invest in some good one like the Corsair HX620/VX450.
 
Thats expensive ! How about me connecting 2 SMPS in parallel ! wont that work .. i know its crazy but hey .. All DVD drives will run on the slave SMPS and the MB and the HDD will run on the master SMPS ! Crazy Idea thou ..
 
i wud be recievin lcd within few days

still have 2 buy other products

was thinkin 2 replace the decided ip35e mobo with asus p5k deluxe sold by gannu at 7.5 k shipped ............. wud be requiring hardware raid , wifi nd 1394 ............so thats why looin for it

I don,t know the revision no. of his mobo

If i couple it with q6600 GO ...........wud it cause any probs

nd if coupled with e7200 ...... then ?

Is it a preferred P35 mobo to got it

Any dominant bugs in the asus p5k mobo when ocing ?

i wud be using ultima / true

One more thing

if i get quad....will Ultima 90 suffice it or TRUE for quads......any gr8 difference in terms of coolin

nd Bcoz if i get Ultima i will save as far as Cabinet is concerned (as TRUE Hardly fits in CM 330 , so then if TRUE , then CM690 is ma way )
 
get a CM690 instead of the Elite330...you might also want to take a look at the WD 500 AAKS model ....its around 3950 i think....Seagate is also a great choice

if ur going for a quad get TRUE else ultima would suffice
