New phone within 6-8k

Hi guys , my 2.5 months old LG GD510 touch screen went kaput and the LG guys are not able to fix it so they are giving me a DOA letter which should be submitted to my dealer and he would provide me with a new box packed piece .

The point is that , i am not at all impressed with this phone and so i have decided to get another phone .
I will add another 2k for a different phone . So please suggest me a good phone in my budget .
I also have a ipod touch so multimedia requirements are limited .

My preferences are good camera , usability , Maps or gps if possible in this budget .

You can look at Nokia C5 based on your needs!

C5's specs look good , definately to consider but i there any better looking phone in this range.

Consider Elm from Sony ericsson staples. Its a feature rich phone

- 3G upto 7.2 Mbps
- Wifi
- GPS
- Motion sensor
- 5 Mp autofocus camera with LED flash and VGA video recording

Plus its a green heart phone .

+1 for SE Elm if you wanna have a 5mp cam. But since phone cams are not that great (no matter 5mp or 2mp) i would suggest you a Nokia 5230. It is overall a very good phones and you can browse net on 3G, Sound quality is awesome (i dumped my Ipod Nano 5G after hearing it!!), good battery backup. But looks are plain and it is a little bulky!

If cam is not top priority you can get SE Zylo (i'm a fan of the design!). It has a 2.6" screen over a 2.2" of the Elm.

Or SE Hazel has both 2.6" screen and 5 mp AF camera (but for 10000)

You can also choose from the good ole E63 from nokia and Nokia C3

Got Samsung Wave 533 for Rs8300 . I think its a good deal . Camera is average but functions are good . Could not find SE ELM anywhere so i had to settle down on this , got the white one . Also saw nokia C5 but it didnt look that attractive .
