New Plan in Airtel 3G @999 - Full Unlimited

Yesterday i got a call from airtel person saying that they have launched a new plan in 3g at 999 rupees without FUP.

I confirmed 3-4 times about the FUP thing and he said that theres no FUP. I am thinking of trying out this plan for month.

What do u guys say??

Found this link today while surfing the airtel site. The plan is mentioned on there site.

But its in the Enterprise section..

its a 2g plan u can ask them again

Even i was shocked when the person told me that its full Unlimited.. Thats why i confirmed 3 times. He even offered me to have a demo at home with the usb simcard modem to check speeds. Lets see how it turns out.

I would sure try this if the speeds are good.
PS: 1 Month back this guy had called me to for the same 3g data card. He told me that he has very good plan for downloader. He offered me a demo at home. When he came he told it was some 650rupees for FUP of around 10gb and then 1rupee per MB something until some more FUP and then 2G speed after that. Total coming out to be something around 2500 rupees for just 20GB.

Then i explained him that right now i am having BSNL broadband @512kbps and i download around 50GB per month. If u give 3G speed i would like something 100GB atleast. He was totally flabbergasted at 50GB in 1 month. And left scratching his head. LOL.. :rofl:

Hoping something similar to happen this time.:)
 
I think this is something like that vodafone 599 scheme where the data card was of Rs 1750 and then you have to pay 599 monthly for UL monthly usage on 2G speeds.
 
Why would i pay 500 monthy for 150 Kbps ? I would rather have a broadband connection of BSNL for 256 kbps .

Strange lot these mobile companies are .
 
just ask that guy can you give me in written "no FUP & after certain no 2G speed " on letter head of Airtel .

if he says yes , then ask him for demo , put some heavy 15 GB + download on trial just right before him & booom .
