Any doubts / queries, please post OR PM. Cheerio!!

Isn't it should be i5 3550? and Corsair 400R should be another option if op finds temptest not good.If budget is not issue then why not go with Ocz Vertex 3 100GB-10-11k

Thanks for the correction Jakob.

I prefer the NZXT Tempest EVO because it has dust filters on almost all fan positions, excluding the rear exhaust port and side-panel.

I would still recommend OP to go for the Corsair drive because of its better after sales network here in India. Here is a head-to-head between the drives in contention, Cheerio!!

Thanks so much ALPHA17 and JACOB!!
But I have some budget constraints here.. my MAXIMUM budget is 110k which includes everything from keyboard to mouse to processors and GPU. Though I have the softwares I require I need to fit everything else in that budget frame.. my major concerns are:
1. if the budget is sufficient or I should expand it
2. my room does not have an A/c (thankfully the summer is almost over) but I dont want to take chances with cooling
3. similarly, a robust power supply is must
4. dont know much bout the GPU+ MoBo+ processor combo, whichever best I can afford..
5. I am looking at 16GB RAM.. read on MAYA's forums that one should park at least 2 GBs for each core of the processor.. so i7 quad core's minimum requirement is 8GB and 16GB was recommended... please advice me on the same
hence, taking my concerns into account if we could cut corners with some expenses and fit the rig in 110k (with some 2k spared for peripherals), that would be very helpful..
Thanks!

Hi,
considering the whole 110k budget, this is the following combo that I have gathered with the price points.. kindly suggest me if this is good to go ahead with..
(I have kept ALPHA17 and JAKOB's configuration as my benchmark template.)
Asus P8Z 77 M Pro MB = 11800/-
Intel Core i7 2600K Cpu = 17800/-
Corsair 8gb ddr3 1600 Single Ram = 3500/-
1tb Seagate Sata Hdd = 5200/- * 2 = 10400/-
2tb Seagate Sata Hdd = 6600/-
Leadtek Quadro 2000 1gb card = 26500/-
Corsair HX 750w Smps = 8500/-
NZXT Phantom 410 Cabinet = 6000/-
23” Dell U 2311 H Monitor = 15600/-
Logitech MK 200 Keyboard Mouse = 700/-
Assembiling Charge = 750/-
Thanks,
DeeJay

Instead of 8gb one stick go for 4GBX2 sticks that would be better. Also Seasonic X560-6.5k would be good enough no need to spend 8.6k on the psu.For ocing add Cooler Master 212 EVO-2.1k OR Noctua NH-U12P-SE2-3.8k
