Great stuff...congrats:hap2:

there goes my honour of being the first one in TE to mount an SI-128

GRRRRRR....if only sidewinder hadnt slipped up in delivering me the fan.. .same one as in here

First... the SI-128 was a mistake ... I actually wanted the Ultra-120 .... My friend called me and wanted an immediate reply on the phone about which Heat Sink to get .... I just said get the biggest from Thermalright and thats what I got - a BIG FAT SI-128 heat sink :D

@tirthankar ... I may still give you that honour... as I may not use this heat sink at all ..... I am working a deal with a secret new player in the computer hardware market who has ordered a full range of Thermalright heat sinks... cannot give any more details or I will be in trouble. But have a look at the page linked below - look what the mad modder did to the SI-128 !!! He shrunk it !! :O

Sudhian Forums | Not Another Soon-to-be SG01 Owner!! (with a slightly different build)

Many people seem to be using the SI-128 without a fan and they get CPU temps around 40C with OC'ing. This would be in their cooler room temps.

@cyrux ... .... I have too many HDDs already ... I can live with what I have for some years.....

@Udit ... I use an old cheap Canon A400 ... 3.2mp 2.2x zoom .... takes great pictures. He asked if he could bring anything I wanted and I asked for HSF .... the display card was a surprise for me.

@gaganjain & faheem_m ... this guy and his wife are both surgeons at Chicago General hospital - they have more money then they will ever need .. I suppose .... :)

I did not do anything that any of you could not have done in the taking of these pictures.... they are taken with window light and the background for the card is my computer chair and as background for the HS I used the side panel of my P160 case :D - all you need to do is make sure there is no camera shake ... seriously it is something any of you can do.

But what you have to see is my doctor friends digital camera stuff.... 2 Canon EOS10D bodies with various lenses including a super wide 12 - 28 zoom and 2 other zooms whose focal lengths I do not remember - he also had the 85 1.2L and the 200mm 1.4 ..... these are fantastic camera hardware - I rememebr seeing a post by Chaos where he mentioned that the 85 1.2L costs around $2000/-. :O I was not paying attention to the photo equipment as I was in SHOCK over being gifted the 8800GTS
EDIT: ....if this interests anybody.... I HATE the new control panel of the Nvidia drivers and after a lot of searching I have found a modded version of nvidia's 97.92 driver which has the old style control panel.....

Awesome stuff eazy. Isn't the 10D kinda old now? Maybe he needs a body upgrade :p. The 85 1.2L is 1800$.

YUP he has had the 10D's for 2 years now... he seems to like them and I dont think he wants to change at the moment..... he is now too busy in his work to do any serious photography. He is a specialist in treating Leukamia (spelling ?) patients.
