A day ago i bough new AMD Phenom System and below are the config :-

AMD Phenom X 4 955 BE 3.2 AM3 8 MB
Asus M4A78STD-V-EVO
OCZ 2 GB DDR3 1333 Mhz OCZ3G13332G
Western Digital 500 GB @ 32 Cache Caviar -Green
XFX 4770 512 MD DDR5
Zebronics Pro 500 watts

When i assembled all these in my zebronics Reaper cabinet and installed both XP with Service pack 2 and Vista Ultimate with Service pack 1. After installed the both the OS and booted i get blue screen after user name login screen in both of the OS. I have tried reinstalling the XP but i get the same blue screen.

I had plugged the HDD of an other desktop with Vista and it boots up and goes BSOD at login screen.

After an discussion with my two brothers we had concluded that problem with the OCZ ram which is the main cause.

SO whats the real problem in this case - Ram, HDD , Mobo or some other ?

if your harddrive has sata support -- change the existing sata port to another one--eg change the connector from sata 1 to sata 2

rogue driver. try booting into safe mode and then check for the system event log for errors.

In anyway i boot i get blue screen and restarting again.

Since u say even after plugging HDD on another desktop u get BSOD which shud not happen because on other system u hve not tried ur ocz ram , try it with ram on other desktop.

Problem is HDD or RAM .

BSOD. may come with software or hardware the system is new. may b is clashing with 2 OS some mistake is installation. do installation again and verify.

Step 1) Run MEMTEST

Step 2) Ask for advice

Its you RAM, or maybe GFX, but as you havent installed any drivers yet. I say RAM.

I cant install the ram and check with the other system bcos the other desktop is an DDR2 based system.

In BSOD error one line says "NTFS"

Ok will remove the graphics card and boot from on-board video.

Ok i have called my TE friend Arun_Petachi and he will try to solve the problem by tomorrow morning in near.
