ive got my front tyres busted with sme stupid pothhole its so badly torn that i can see the copper rings inside it. and now i wanna a tyre which is wth tube i guess thats better

a very cheap solution caus ei hardly take out my car santro 2001 model only weekends. cheap of cheapest i dunt care .

Cheapest of cheap would be MRF/JK/ Apollo Amazers.

I would suggest the MRFs or the amazers. Stay away from the JKs.

The MRF ZVTS tubetype should be around 2250/- per tyre. The amazer in the samr range. Bridgestone tubetype should be more than that. Just get the MRFs. You will be happy.

Cheapest would be some local made brand from a smallish shop guy/ Chinese tyres.

for OP: Car is 8+ years old, and looks like has got the orig tyres still on. so, yeah, cheapest would be best, as you may not use the car for more than 5-6 years ahead.

Dont go for Chinese tyres. Unles you are lending your car to your worst enemy and want him to die.

However cheap they are, dont ever trust them.

+1

Go for MRF, cheap and virtually indestructible but don't expect any other thing (namely ride comfort, handling, ripetc) from it.

Nikhil, are tubed tyres more expensive than tubeless?

I got Michelin tubeless 145/R12 for 2k per tyre about 6 months back. I am pretty happy with them.

Apollo Amazer XL are pretty decent... Got them for my 1999 ZEN VX.. two years ago & they are still pretty good considering my brother virtually rape the car with his awkward driving... Threads are still there on all except one...

Tubed tyres are generally cheaper as they are made only by the Indian manufacturers. MRF, Jk, Apollo, Bridgestone.

Using Apollo Amazer XL's since 5 yrs now, no problems whatsoever. Cheaper than MRFs when I got them, now it might be different, I don't know. :hap2:
