Time to upgrade the stock tyres on my CBZ*. I am planning to continue with the stock model which is Dunlop Geocruiser (rear) and Ezee Cruiser (front)

Any idea on how much do these cost in the market today? My budget is 4k.

If any better options are available then please let me know.

Current tyre sizes are:
Front - 2.75 - 18 42P
Rear - 100/90 - 18 56P

Go for Michellin Sirac - both the tyres will cost you Rs.3000 in all. You can also fill free nitrogen for both your tyres for a period of 6 months at select Michellin dealerships.

Thanks sunny27. I was quoted Rs. 1700 for the MRF Zapper FS (for front) and Rs. 2200 for the MRF Zapper Y (for rear).

The Michellin Sirac look good. how do they perform any idea? I will be mostly riding between office and home. When you say Rs. 3000 in all i am assuming for both rear and front. correct?

Did you buy sirac or sirac street for your bike?

^^ How do you know that you wont get the exact tyre sizes you need?? dont look at michelin website its not updated and most of the tyre sizes are not displayed on the website but they are available with michelin dealers..

Thanks RS4. So any idea of the prices of Michelin Sirac. Like Sunny27 said Rs. 3000. is it per tyre or for both

^^ It will be for both the tyres, it cant be 3000 per tyre as i got the more expensive Michelin pilot-sporty soft-compound tyres for my bike at 4000 for both the tyres.

k great. Thanks RS4. Now just have to go to the dealer and get them.

I was searching through the net and read that Michellin tyres do not come with tubes. so the above price does it include the price for tubes as well ?

ok got the Sirac Street - costed me Rs.3700 + Rs.600 for the tubes. Thank you guys for the suggestions.

The grip and look of the bike is really wonderful.

Don't buy tube-type tyre. since you have alloy wheels, go for Tubeless tyres.

I would recommend michelin M45. better road tyre. Sirac street is more biased towards semi offroad.

600 for tubes was a massive ripoff, you could have PMed me or sunny, we were not able to see this thread as your post got auto-merged with previous posts, i got the much better Michelin pilot-sporty including free tubes at 4000 for both the tyres, also at the most tubes cost 100-150 per tube.

Anyways 300-400 bucks is a small amount and the most important point is that you like the grip and looks of the tyres, ride safe :)

^^ thanks RS4, even i felt that the price was a lil bit on the higher side for the tubes maybe at least a 100 bucks. But now its all over and i am satisfied with the ride and feel. :)

Did you get to fill your tyres with free nitrogen? I think you paid Rs.500 extra. Do ask and opt for the free nitrogen service Michelin offers.
