I really like the improvement in the quotes thingy, in the last style I was barely able to read the tiny fonts and just used to skip reading them unless it was someone replying to me and continue to read the discussion, was even lazy to press + to increase page size :/

Other than that it's fine.
 
nice work guys!! the new looks cool....but there is just one thing it looks kinda elongated...i mean earlier the whole screen was being used...can something be done abt it??

The new features are quite cool :D

There is still some work left (and its late so its time to sleep) There will be some small changes done tomorrow(esp motm,rotm tags and toscar winners tag etc)

TE is lookin cool indeed...but i wud also love a dark, maybe black granite kinda color style as an option with this one...it wud look rockin cool...:ohyeah:

Also wots with the Toscar thingy..:S Lol..cudnt u guys find a better name....:rofl: :lol:
 
To everyone:

Its been specifically mentioned in the second post that all be patient. There is a fluid version which has not been opened since i was not sure i had fixed everything in it. AND all old styles will still be there. Plus there are still things to be sorted out. We didn't want a full day downtime, i think we should have done that now.

The fixed skin was tested on 1280X800(my laptop resolution) and it looked fine there. Plus QF tested it at his resolution and it was fine for him. Yes i gather there is huge wastage at high end resolution. Thats why a fluid skin was made and will be opened. Ofcourse a bit of patience before passing sarcastic remarks would have helped.

^^Unfortunately that is not true and there's lots of wasted space even on 1280x800 resolution :P. Here.... take a look

 
well thats true for any fixed width style.
fixed width makes it easier to absolute position blocks. Wasted space yes but its not looking too bad to me.
the best skins are fixed width :P anyway am not arguing the point. You cannot please everyone with a single skin. Thats why we are still going to have all the old skins. You will see a fluid version of the skin soon.

Well new design sux for me. I think Featured threads and rig of the month and member of the month is given too much prominence. No one goes to those links more than once a week. I would say move them to less prominent places like bottom of the page instead of side. Funenclave might be on just to promote that site, or may be move it to top and free that entire free space lying below that column.
