new valve servers india

got a mail from the valve guys here in india.

they have setup 7 servers. since i dont play thought ill let u guys know.

Counter Strike 1.6 Public Server I - 202.63.160.43:27015
Counter Strike 1.6 Public Server II - 202.63.160.43:27016
Counter Strike CLAN Server - 202.63.160.43:27017
Counter Strike Condition Zero - 202.63.160.43:27018
Half Life 2 Death Match - 202.63.160.43:27019
Counter Strike Source - 202.63.160.43:27020
Day of Defeat Source -202.63.160.43:27021
 
I know about this since a week now, although i had no idea it was setup by valve. I get pings of around 30(last checked) on that server. Even indiatimes had setup a cs:s server but it disappeared mysteriously.

good that more servers are coming up, but sad that THE admins choose to put up a million servers than a few good ONES.

the tickrate on the 1.6 servers (sv_maxupdaterate) is a LOW 18.

That makes for very random and sad gameplay. Not to mention 33 tick CSS server (? right)
 
Very Good ping rates on this server.

lets hope this server remains "Clean" unlike the "Cheat" ridden TE CSS server.....lol
 
LOL single digit pings here, btw whas tickrates.

Also I got a HL copy, what all do I require to play CS 1.6 ?
 
I hope the tick rates are optimised soon to remove the jerkiness. Will love to play with my fellow TE members "HERE" rather than on the Cheaters Paradise that the TE CSS server has become due to some very Enthusiastic Admins.
Just to compete with the Thai / Singapore clans they(admins) often (or rather always) indulge in malpractise,:hap5: this is pissing off :@ bonafide TE members who are just learning the game. They think the present admins of the TE CSS server are very good players etc ...and they get dejected / frustrated and disconnect / leave the game,:S Without realising that rampant cheating is being indulged by the admins. "Auto Aim" and near infinite Health are just two examples of it.:ohyeah:

This is a prime example of "Abusing of Admin Power":tongue:.

ps: I get killed most of the time very early on in the game (Due to Cheating and my giving aiming practise etc..) but I still persist in playing. (This gives me a chance in knowing who is cheating etc ...:D )

Dammm you DJ... Plz dont disclose this in public... i will tell you cheats alone on msn today afternoon :D...

Onto the topic... Airtel is giving me sucky pings for the valve CSS server... Wonder why is that... Also TE CSS server subscription has to be renewed so plz somebody find out that if Valve is renting servers here in india :)...

And all you need is the HL serial key. No need to install HL or even touch that cd.

Download Steam - Make an account using that key - Update CS 1.6 fully - Play
 
It seems nobody knows about tick rates, is it some goobly goo that u guys throw at us or is it supposed to be something important?

Lol dj most of the known/obvious hackers have been banned on TE. You are in the exact same position that every player when they start playing CSS. It's not that the rest are hacking or something (not to mention the fact that hacking on a pub is very risky since you could be detected by vac or banned by the admin.). This whole not hitting even though you pumped 200 bullets into the enemy is related to retared coding by valve programmers. It's something known as lag compensation.
