i hope they dont come out with any new nfs version for the next 2 years !
they should try and make a much better nfs game instead of quickly coming out with new versions every year.... and figure out how to make flatout 2 type of damage models for the game , have both day and night time settings for the city different weather that affects the way the cars behave and interior views for the cars and stuff.
maybe thats too much to ask . blah

^ Yeah, hell there should be interior models for god's sake.
Accurate damage modelling - real-time day & night cycles - weather changes that affect handling - interior modelling?
I think what you people really want to play is GTR 2 :D

We need more players who are interested in this fine fine game. We already got 4-5 drivers who race on weekends.

@saumil, I got through roughly 50% of GTR2 training with a logitech gamepad, but I found it difficult using manual transmission on the pad... you guys are using wheels?

I use a gamepad. It becomes second nature once you cultivate the discipline to not go overboard at each corner.
And then after a while you really begin to love putting in smooth clean laps and watching the replays.

The driving school is a good place to start, but it's just that.
Best thing to do is switch off all driving aids (except auto-clutch), then just take the Lotus Elise out on Imola and start throwing it around.

That one track will teach you most of the tricky stuff - riding high kerbs without upsetting the car's balance, braking on slopes without locking up the wheels, shifting on slopes (a real b**ch if you don't time it right :@) and the importance of a clean racing line.

We really need more people to start playing this game. We can have multiplayer Free Practice sessions which will be far more fun and helpful.
