Nexus 4 | Sim card doesn't allow a connection to this network

Folks,

Got this phone from the US directly from Google and now I am getting this error while trying to connect to idea sim in Pune. This sim works fine with other phone.

Any recommendation?

The microsim which ur using is factory made or have you cut the normal sim? In some cases micro sim which is not cut properly signal loss exists.

Yes, get your micro sim from idea itself. It will cost you around 25 bucks

yeah if not cut properly there is going to be signal problem n yes as nalin said get a factory made one from idea store it self.

What about the problem where network is there but unable to send SMS ?

^check if the SMS centre no. is correct.
usually that is the cause for situations where you have normal network and calls but no SMS
