Earphones are included. This is to include 4.4 out of box no two ways about it.. heading to office right now, will catch up in the evening..:)
Everyone who's ordered through play store, guess its just a matter of hours for each of you !!!

anybody who ordered around 11 am yesterday got shipping notification? and yes the headphones are included in the play store's nexus 5 -seen some posts related to it at xda.
Seems like to be shipping from mumbai.
 
I ordered 3 phones. The first 2 were at 10am and 1130am respectively yesterday. As per Google, these will leave the warehouse on the 24th. The 3rd phone was ordered at 1230am today. This will leave the warehouse on the 25th. These are all 32GB Black models and none of them are for me!

For those who have received the phones ordered via the Indian play store, what date/time did you order? And which colour and capacity?
