just read the previews and now i'm not sure if i'd like that game

all the new physics, damage model and photo realism sounds good

but why on earth do we need another racing sim??

i liked NFS coz of its arcade nature. a bit of realism is fine

but taking it to the extreme will turn away many NFS fans.

Nice collection but then too the list looks repeated in each n every NFS GAME!!!

GIVE me Ford GT, Modena, Gallardo etc...
 
no cops is a bummer :(

although looking forward to driving a DBR9 and the mazda RX-8. Hope they get the exhaust notes right though :p
 
Hmm, sounds real nice. Checked the trailers and stuff. All looks good :D . Hope they manage to bring back the control and feel of Porsche Unleashed. Controls in all other versions felt so very artificial.

Actually NFS has it's roots as a sim.
Starting from back when it was called The Need For Speed up until Porsche Unleashed, it always aspired for realistic handling no matter how basic.

Then came that Vin Diesel movie and everything got shot to hell. Enter hovercraft racing :|

:) Any of you guys played porsche 2000....I found it to be the best nfs....forget graphics but from enjoyment point of view..that was the best..or maybe it was my first so I feel that way
