Ninja Gaiden 3 confirmed for March 2012

Looking forward to getting your ninja action on? If you are, you might be pleased to hear that Tecmo Koei’s Ninja Gaiden 3 has gotten its release date. Fans of the Ninja Gaiden franchise will now have a game to look forward to come March 2012, a date that was revealed by Team Ninja’s lead Yosuke Hayashi at an event held yesterday.

The game will bring about a new single player campaign as well as multiplayer mode that will feature four-player combat. The good news is that for those who might be worried about console exclusivity is that Ninja Gaiden 3 looks like it will be released for both Sony’s PlayStation 3 and Microsoft’s Xbox 360 at the same time, although we’re not sure if PlayStation 3 owners will be getting an exclusive content like they have in the past.

Ninja Gaiden is a challenging game, not hard. For those who are used to random button mashing may find it difficult, but if you spend enough time with the first 2 games and learn their techniques, you'll be fine. Every enemy has an attack pattern. Learning that pattern and countering their attack is an effective approach. The only thing which really pissed me off in NG2 were the off-screen projectiles. Coming back to Ninja Gaiden 3, the dismemberment removal has certainly pissed me off. The brutality of Ryu's attacks were accurately represented in NG2. QTE addition has again raised my doubts for this game. I just hope they at least have the courtesy of adding giant-ass boss battles. Got my hands full with other games at the moment.

Seems like only me and Ethan are excited for the game

Add me to the list.

NGS2 is my 1st PS3 game. Looking forward to this.

As per some reviews this game is not much like the previous ninja gaiden games..Several key features missing in this one also the game difficulty is pretty easy it seems..

And isnt the game releasing with move controller option?

Famitsu has given a good score. Looking forward to the game. NGS was a really challenging title compared to NGS 2 and it felt really good after completing the title.

But I thought #dinjo couldn't stand hack and slash titles? I mean if GOW 3 alone gave you a hard time, I wonder how would you even stand the first few chapters of a Ninja Gaiden game!

Add me to the list.

Glad to hear that. Have you played Ninja Gaiden Sigma/Sigma 2?

Yes i have played NG 2 that's why my fingers keep paining whenever i thought of the game,

Compared to other hack-n-slash games, this one has critical moves and most are very difficult.

[crappy dialogue] Anyway as Ryu says : "Pain. It hurts me . It hurts them."[/crappy dialogue]
