Yea, they required a 1000Rs+ worth bill/recharges per month from the consecutive 6 months. My sister's postpaid and my prepaid crossed 1000Rs/month.

After many emails and phone calls to the higher authorities got me the booster.

Its not a tower, It looks something like this. The antenna is installed on the terrace, and small boxes(emitters) are installed on the windows of the house.
