C =CrAzYG33K= Contributor Aug 14, 2010 #2 If you're breaking a contract you have to pay the 'Early Termination Fee(ETF)'. Usually the ETF would be mentioned on the contract/carrier website. And, I believe you can unlock the phone if it's not on contract.

CDMA phns in US and CANADA comes without a SIM card... so u need to do a bit of programming to make it wrk here....
