Hi techies,
I am reusing my old H61 motherboard with i3-3240 cpu with 8gb of 1600mhz fury ram sticks. Unable to get display .
Done test like
1. Using different rams in different slots (has only 2)
2. Used onboard GPU instead of discrete.
3. Resetting the CMOS
4.Used different HDMI ports on monitor.
Inspected Results.
1.monitor is working as I have a 2nd pc.
2.CPU is receiving power as I tried touching it with hands for cpu heat less than 10secs onn.
3. New cables.
4. So the motherboard CPU and GPU was never used for 2 years approx. but was well kept in a anti static bags including the GPU
5.keyboard and mouse is getting power.

I don't have any other board on hand for 1155 socket or cpu.

So is there anything else I could try.
Wanted to trun this pc for media play with Android TV and windows for basic stuff.
Any solutions will be helpful.

Alright guys seems like I figured out the issue .
The issue was with a psu power cable i suppose. The prior cable seems to be broken. This time I used the actual psu cable which came with the PSU.

good that you figured it out,
is that button cell/kts battery new or old?

It's old one which came from the factory. No changes done to that except i removed it and cleared BIOS.
if its quite old, for example over 4-5 yr old they generally start causing issues. like sudden startups, sudden restarts, while working pc shuts down and restarts. my point being i am just giving here tip/side info might come in handy. (for me it was 3.5yr after which my pc started giving me mentioned issues and just changing the battery helped me, until get down there i had done too much trial n error too much time spent)
