I have a Gigabyte G31M-S2L Mobo.
But,it never sound at all from the beginning, even no beep when boot....:S
Is it default or I have to change any setting ?......

@Revolution , check the stuffs that came with your cabby, there should be a small buzzer, find it and connect it to the mobo.
Now you can hear the POST beeps :)

Yea,I already put dat small buzzer speaker but still no sound. :S

Is there any setting on BIOS ?

I could not find anything.....

^ IIRC there is no such setting in desktop BIOS, just check if you have plugged the buzzer at the right pins in the mobo.
Refer mobo manual if you have any trouble, if it still doesn't work, then check the buzzer, as it might be a faulty one too

Thanks!

Gonna check the manual again.

If not then might the buzzer dead cos its near 3 years old may be.

Gonna buy a new one ?

Or its not so important ?....

^ its mainly important for diagnosis, you can check the health of your buzzer using a multimeter, so just connect it to a single 1.5V AAA/AA battery, if you hear any sound from it (like khark...khark), then its working one :)

Thanks!

Its working now.

The buzzer is OK.

I made a mistake previously.

Put + & - pin in wrong.

But,the buzzer is not so powerful.

Beep sound is not so loud compare to my other on-board buzzer.

^ may be you can try a different buzzer, or the current volume might be the peak volume for your mobo
